Australian Home Loans for New Zealand Citizens

How much can I borrow?

Up to 90% LVR and for some applications 95% of the purchase price. This means that NZ citizens living and working in NZ can purchase property in Australia with only a 5-10% deposit plus costs.

 

What documents will I require to prove my income?

NZ citizens living and working in NZ seeking home loan finance in Australia will require the following documents,

  • Identification,
  • 2 most recent payslips,
  • 3 months bank statements for the bank account where employment income is deposited,
  • Statements on credit cards, personal loans and savings.

 

What Home Loan products and interest rates are available?

The full range of home loan products at standard interest rates are still available to you including fixed rate home loans, variable (floating) and honeymoon rate home loans, and home loans with all the features including redraw and offset account.
