Craig Vaughan, Director of Map Mortgage Brokers, is supported by four personal assistants / loan writers in Brett, Bree, Susan and Kirsty. Brett, Bree, Susan and Kirsty handle the administration side of the application process which frees up Craig to advise new clients on their options and place them with the right lender.
Craig graduated with a degree in law from Queensland University of Technology. During his studies Craig had the opportunity to study at Nottingham Trent Law School in the UK for an academic year and it was during this time that he and his wife, earning excellent income, thought about buying property back home for their return. Unfortunately they found it very hard to find someone back in Australia who;
- knew how to arrange finance for those living abroad and the issues that arise, and
- a broker they could trust to treat their home loan application like it was their own.
On return from overseas, Craig completed his degree but decided to take a different direction and head into finance. Craig initially worked for another mortgage company as the non resident and expat loan expert for 3 years before starting his own company, MAP Mortgage Brokers.
